Purchased from friends in 2003 as a surprise wedding present for my wife Kelly. Restored authentically by husband and wife team of Casey Clavin and Vic Koch, who did all the metal repair, paint and interior themselves. It was painted in an open carport! It features a rare electric sunroof and an original interior transplanted from another car. Completed in 1996, it’s won many 356 Registry Holiday first place trophies, including both East and West coast in 1998. Never trailered, always driven, it’s covered about 30,000 miles since restoration. Most recently it was awarded “Best German Car” at the 2019 Cars on Kiawah Concours.
