Dad bought the 911 new and drove it daily with a huge grin. His favorite line was, “Life begins at 3,000 RPM!” Driven nearly 250,000 miles all over the West with Mom as his co-pilot. The license plate, “CV SIX” is the ship number of the USS Enterprise on which Dad served from 1940 to 1944 through Pearl Harbor, Midway, Coral Sea, and more. Now on its third engine and second transmission, CV SIX is lovingly maintained and driven in Dad’s memory. Griot’s Corporate Award winner 2017.
