One of my favorite things about Porsches is the superb engineering and attention to detail. I do whatever maintenance I can do myself—it's a great way to appreciate the design and build quality. That, and nostalgia for the 80s and 90s Porsches I grew up with, led me to start looking for a 'project car'. This 968 fit the bill; it had been kept original, but had a lot of room for revitalization. I've enjoyed restoring the paint to its original luster, detailing the interior, replacing numerous trim and mechanical parts, and driving a relatively rare Porsche that many people have never seen!
