This April, 1998 build 996 was rescued from Ohio and brought to Maryland. This is my daily driver. A fun car to drive - it's a 911. I've been able to gather a little of the history of this car. Originally registered in Minnesota the car moved to Florida then New York and to Ohio where I grabbed it. The car is all original engine, transmission and body. Since owning it, I've had a fair amount of work done from replacing the IMS, RMS and clutch to adding Billstein suspension all around. I've also brought the sound system up to the 21st century with a perfectly sized, period correct Bluetooth stereo. Windows have been tinted to help protect the interior (although garage kept) and aesthetics. Oh, and how about the original 17' Turbo Twist rims that I powder coated black with the silver outer edge.
