2000 Porsche Carrera 996.1 The Porsche 996 was the first 911 that was completely redesigned and carried over little from its predecessor as Porsche wanted the design team to design a 911 for the next millennium. Featuring an all-new body, interior, and the first water-cooled engine, the 996 replaced the 993 from which only the front suspension, rear multi-link suspension, and a 6-speed manual transmission were retained in revised form. The 996 has a drag coefficient of Cd=0.30. The 996 is 185 mm (7 in) longer and 40 mm (2 in) wider than its predecessor. It is also 45% stiffer courtesy of a chassis formed from high-strength steel. Additionally, it is 110 lb. lighter despite having additional radiators and coolant. 2.4L DHOC 24V integrated dry-sump boxer engine 300 HP at 6.800 rpm / 0-62 mph 5.2 seconds / Top speed 170 mph L84R Guards Red P65 Sunroof 413 18 inch Turbo look wheels (custom finish of black center with polished lip, Satin) XX1 “Porsche” floor mats 030 Sports Suspension (10mm lower than stock US model 415 Wider rear track 476 Porsche stability management (PSM) 490 Option speaker package 981 All leather lining 983 Leather seats front and rear 220* Factory Limited Slip Differential (* owner added) FD Motorsports sport muffler modification Smooth throttle body feed hose, Helmholtz resonator removed LN retro fit IMS upgrade 12mm front wheel spacers, 15mm rear wheel spacers (with matched longer wheel bolts) Double Din Pioneer sound system with Bluetooth, Apple Car play & Reverse camera Headlight upgrade.
