When the car came to me in September 2023, it had 39k miles and it had only driven 4k miles since 2008. I immediately took it to my local Porsche specialist (IMA Motorwerke) to have them look at every square inch of the car. Lots of rubber seals had suffered during those years of inactivity, but it is now in amazing shape and being regularly exercised like it's meant to. My previous cars were a 2001 Boxster S and a 2006 911. I found the Boxster S a lot more gratifying to drive so I am now back to one, and very happy about it!
