I became the third owner of this mid-engine wonder in July 2021. After renting multiple convertibles (Z4, C8, Miata, two 981) for pandemic road-trips, I couldn’t help but come back to the 981 era Boxster as the perfect California convertible. I assumed ownership from a fellow PCA member in Oregon, where she did 14,000 miles over 9 years. I have since taken her down Highway 1 from Oregon, Mt. Tam, Mt. Hamilton, Yosemite, and Coachella. She’s a PDK w/ GIAC tune (327 hp + 280 torque), PSE, PTV, PASM, and deviated blue carpets. Now 12,000+ miles with smiles later, I’d say the Porsche bug is real!
