“My Baby Came Back to Me” I specified this Boxster GTS myself in early 2014. I put in only the options I had to have: PTV, convenience pkg, safety bars in Guards Red, Infotainment Pkg with Bose SSS, the stock 20” Carrera S wheels painted Platinum Silver, and the finishing touch...Guards Red Seat Belts. It topped out at $82,570 on its production completion date of 9/8/14. Unfortunately when my baby came arrived 11/17/14, we couldn’t strike a deal on my other Boxster we were trading in. So we walked. I was sad. In early 2015, someone else bought my baby 2/19/15 and off it went, never to be seen again. Fast forward a little over a year later. We walked into the dealership to get a part for my husband's new Boxster Spyder and our salesman said “Hey, I just got a beautiful used Boxster GTS in that I think you ought to take for a drive!” What color? Guards Red. How old? 1 year. Low miles? 5100. Guess what color seat belts? Red! So we took it out. It was awesome. I never felt a more responsive handling beast. I kept looking at it and saying “You know...if I were to spec a car, it would be all these options”. We both looked at each other. Our salesman ran back to look at the paperwork and yes, it was my baby that I had spec’d! We immediately decided right then and there, OK let’s do this thing! We made a great deal and a great trade and both parties were happy. My baby came back to me on 6/17/16 and we’ve both never been happier!
