My wife never wanted a Porsche for her and she was totally against owning a Porsche while insisting in looking for another SUV brand. I already had my 718 Cayman and knew that no other SUV could beat that feeling of driving a Porsche. After almost a year of heated discussions, I showed her this car for sale 4 hours away from our home. She couldn't hold her excitement and she said that she wanted that car! While I was negotiating with the seller, she started buying shoes, a purse, clothing and ear rings to match the car. Next day, the seller said he wasn't sure if he was going to sell it anymore and asked me for another day or so to think about it. I had to dodge a disappointed and mad wife for a day until I got a call from the seller saying that he discussed with his wife and they thought that my wife should have the car! We rushed to the bank, he wanted cash, we drove his way to meet him at the bank. When we were 5 miles away (after driving almost 4 hours) he texted on my cellphone: - I am so sorry! I changed my mind and I am not selling the car anymore... - my heart did skip a beat, my wife's eyes were watering, then another message came in: - I am joking! I just arrived at the bank and we are waiting for you! - we laughed! Since then, it has been 1 year of a happy ownership (and happy wife, since this is HER PORSCHE).
