I purchased this vehicle as second owner in April of 2001, with just over 75,000 miles on it at the time. The original owner was Carson Thompson, founder and CEO of the old Bombay Furniture Company, headquartered here in Fort Worth, Texas. The vehicle has given many miles of driving pleasure (now over 247,000 miles) and still keeps on performing! The car is primarily a 'weekend driver' car, being used for tours, going to out of town events, and sightseeing on all the backroads of Texas. I did a records search by VIN a number of years ago and found that this vehicle was build in the 2nd week of January 1986, with a completion date of 1-13-86, and as such is (supposedly) one of the first 100 or so of the turbos to legally come back into the US after the five year ban. It was sold by Ryan Motors, now Autobahn, in March of 1986. When I purchased the car, it came with all its sales and service records, and I mean ALL - as in a big box full - including the original window sticker. Since I have owned the car, it has been serviced by one organization - Mayo Performance in Euless TX - and I have all those records since my ownership of this car began.
